November Challenges

My November challenge is to post once a day (challenge issued by me)! But in order to do that, I must first exercise for thirty minutes (challenge issued by Ben). So there are two ways for me to fail my blogging challenge...by not blogging or by not exercising...and you'll never know which one I'm failing on. We'll see how it goes.

Let me know if you're tuning in.

I like this blog, you know, it's exciting! I hope you can do both Kate, it's a good challenge! I'll be here reading (even if I'm not commenting).

NOT FIRST! Reid also was not first! However, hello to SapphireCrab. Katie - it's a good goal, but.... the content of your first blog of the month definitely leaves something to be desired. It does not exhibit the "je ne sais quoi" of the prior absolutely phenomenal post. You may have forgotten, but you and I were both introduced to seed art in 1988 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, home of not only the world's largest seed art displays (link at www.cornpalace.com/gallery/index.php), but also the 2009 Corn Palace Polka Festival. You were a little young at the time to appreciate the art fully, but you did get to frequently relive the experience every time we used our "Corn Palace" plastic placemats.
I'll be following your blog, and hope for new and exciting themes to be revealed each day.

Oh my gosh. This is exciting. So exciting that I am adding a new level of challenge for myself. I too must exercise before I get to read your posts! I might actually get to do it. We shall see. But if I don't I'm 100% sure I'll cheat and read your posts anyway, so never fear.

Anne, Katie says she's going to send you the link to the Stevens Canyon trip report as proof that she was there. However, keep in mind that I had months to do it and have excellent Photoshop skills.

SapphireCrab - Welcome! You are more than welcome to just read especially since you have lots of other things to be writing.

Mom - This was the post explaining the challenge, it was not meant to be an entry for the Pulitzer Prize :) I had forgotten about the Corn Palace, but I definitely need a negative scanner so that I can scan in old potentially embarrassing pictures of myself and put them on here. I think documenting the trip TO Alaska as told in the red binder, on a blog would be hilarious. Also, our placemat collection as kids was awesome. I wouldn't know where to start finding such a great placemat collection now. We have placemats with pears and apples, brown placemats, and beige placemats. They just aren't as exciting...

Simon - Yay for boring walks! You will have to let us know how you are doing on your goals as well. Maybe the firehouse will start playing loud music soon and it will keep you company as you walk.

Reid - I sent her the link. I cannot attest to your Photoshop skills as I don't know as I've ever seen them in action. I may have, but if I have you've never admitted to it and if you do, then I know that you are the culprit behind a scandal. So ha!
