Misread Headline of the day

I read a lot of headlines on a daily basis (NY Times, Star Tribune, NPR, Slashdot, etc) and I often miss a letter or read something incorrectly. I thought it would be funny to post them

I read: Bacon Restored to Glamour of Vaudeville Days
I imagined an article about how bacon is in, as it once was. I was a little confused as to the tie between bacon and Vaudeville. Then I read it again.

Actual Title: Beacon Restored to Glamour of Vaudeville Days
A theatre is restored. Way less confusing and funny.

I think you just have bacon on the brain.

Reid - That is awesoe. I love bacolicio.us.

Simon - Don't hate just because you are anti-maple/bacon and anti-bacon cookies.

I'm not hating! I'm merely proposing that this particular misreading had a specific cause and that cause is baaaaaaacon.

bacon is so wonderful. i was contemplating making a bacon explosion, but it seemed like it was taking the bacon thing too far... and I don't have a grill. perhaps you can cook and blog it...

Unfortunately, I'm not a huge sausage fan. That being said, it seems like the bacon explosion should be made just for the experience. Then I'll bring it into my lab and make them eat it. I'll wait until it's nice to BBQ outside though (I wouldn't be able to see across the room indoors for all the smoke.)

I also feel like cheese should be involved.
